III. Interest Calculation
Father also contends that the magistrate and district court erred in calculating the interest mother owed him on the $9,169.64 overpayment. We disagree.
The magistrate accepted father’s interest calculations in determining the amount of interest on the overpayment.
Accordingly, like the district court, we will not disturb this portion of the order on the basis of father’s subsequent conflicting information.

The appeals court opinion stands for the proposition that a trial court can use any proposed calculations, even if they are erroneous. It encourages submission of erroneous calculations that benefit the party making the submission.
